Dental Clinic Expands Program
Victory Health Partners’ Dental Clinic has recently expanded its services to include low income Medicare patients. VHP opened the Dental Clinic in April 2006 to offer patients affordable basic dental care for $35.00 each visit. Patients may receive cleanings, fillings and extractions. Shortly after opening, the clinic began to receive phone calls from senior citizens who had Medicare healthcare insurance, but were unable to afford to see a dentist. In order to address this growing need, Victory has begun registering low-income Medicare patients into the program. Medicare patients must be pre-qualified based on income and family size. To date, over 1,200 patients may call 445-0611 to make an appointment. New Medicare patients may receive information about pre-qualifying for the dental program by calling 460-0999.

We Want Your Garden Photos!

Mavis Mitchell is standing in front of her vegetable container garden. The advantage to a container garden is working the soil at waist high level instead of ground level. The summer crop was peas and okra. The fall crop is collards and turnip greens. If you would like to build a container garden contact Ron Mitchell 591-6872. Send us your garden photo and we will put it on the website.
